The workshop will bring together people who mostly live in small towns set many miles apart to write their way toward greater connection with each other and understanding of how the land where they live shapes their lives and speaks through their souls.
Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg is the poet laureate of Kansas and author of more than a dozen books, including four collections of poetry, and The Sky Begins At Your Feet: A Memoir on Cancer, Community & Coming Home to the Body. Founder of Transformative Language Arts at Goddard College where she teaches, she leads writing workshops widely for many populations, and with singer Kelley Hunt, writing and singing workshops and collaborative performances.
