Summary: Writing for Community: A Workshop for People Living with Serious Illness and Their Caregivers/Families. Come write about how you see the world, the ways in which you find and keep community, and what you want the greater community to know about living with serious illness and/or being a caregiver. This workshop will also be part of a global project, “One City, One Prompt,” which is bringing together people around the world in over 70 cities
to write about and in community. We’ll spend the first three hours writing together, and the last hour, documenting what you want to share on the “One City, One Prompt” website: all participants have the opportunity to share writing in print or have your reading of your work filmed or recorded.
Venue: Turning Point’s mission is to empower and transform the mind, body, and spirit of individuals, families, and friends living with serious or chronic physical illness. We provide innovative education services and tools that inspire people to take charge of their illness and live life to its fullest.
